New Hybrid Cam Assembly System
The LFA linear transfer system from Taktomat forms the core of our equipment, with custom fixtures and tooling integrated around it. These workstations are designed and built to meet the specific needs of your product and assembly process.
The machine’s central drive powers the main horizontal shaft and indexer through a toothed belt, which is directly connected to the indexed chain. The main shaft, located beneath the platform, carries the cams that control the movements of the workstations. Motion is transmitted to each station via the cam roller, deflection lever, and connecting rod. Inversion levers can be equipped with either tension springs or pneumatic elements, depending on your preference.

To perform which operations?
The Cam Driven Line automates several successive operations on your parts or subassemblies. The stations can perform various tasks such as assembly (welding, clipping, crimping, screwing…), inspection (shape, appearance, continuity, vision, laser…), marking (labeling, inkjet printing, dot marking…), light machining, and packaging.

The Cam Driven Line industrial equipment combines a mechanical cam system with digital control elements. The advantage of this hybrid system is that it combines the precision and repeatability of mechanical cams with the flexibility and programmability of high-volume digital machines. STOP & GO: Up to 32 Stations
The Stop & Go manufacturing process, unlike continuous kinematics, allows temporary pauses at each station. This enables more complex operations and provides the flexibility to perform checks or make adjustments between steps if necessary. With the ability to integrate up to 32 custom-designed workstations, this process lets you increase the number of operations performed on a product.
