A new year, new momentum! At the beginning of 2020, FP LYON joined the R&D Technology group.

The merger between R&D Technology and FP LYON allows the new entity to strengthen its presence in the eastern half of France and its neighbouring countries. Moreover, joining the strengths of the two structures allows the group to conquer larger markets and more ambitious projects.

“The integration of FP LYON into the R&D Technology group will allow us to offer a wider and more complete range of services to our customers, especially in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, and in particular in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. The R&D Technology group is also a partner in the JBT HubUp consortium (Jura) offering a complete solution for medical device development, from idea to series production.”

FP LYON is going to develop in a number of very promising fields, in particular robotics/cobotics in the medical-pharmaceutical sector, thus opening up the field of possibilities for its current and future customers.

Based in St-Bonnet-de-Mure, FP LYON has been active in the industry since 1991. The company has about ten employees, whose skills are focused on the design and manufacture of mechanical assemblies, special machines and tools, as well as the integration of multi-brand industrial robots (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, ADEPT, etc.)

From an operational point of view, FP LYON’s current organisational chart and location remain unchanged.
