R&D Technology and JBT HubUp announce a unique partnership agreement for the development and custom manufacturing of innovative medical devices.

Seven French companies have forged a unique partnership called JBT HubUp.This association of entrepreneurs offers the pharmaceutical and medical industry a unique solution for the development of innovative medical devices by bringing together, right from the start of the project, the business skills needed to achieve all the objectives: from design to qualification, through manufacturing and assembly.

This unique national alliance, covering the whole country, represents a turnover of 100 million euros with 11 production sites throughout the world and 3000 m² of clean rooms. With more than 850 employees, these seven key players cover all the skills needed to accelerate and succeed in the development of innovative medical devices.

Depending on the project and the skills required, these companies can count on the recognised experience of each of the partners, namely in plastic injection and mould manufacturing (JBT Group), in design and registration of medical devices (Opia Technologies), in industrialisation expertise and project management (Sibaya BCPharMed), in the design and construction of automated machines and production facilities (RDPM and ICM), in design and development of fluidic devices and components (EVEON), and in LSR silicone injection (Progress).

JBT HubUp is comprised of customer-focused companies of various sizes, eager to provide solutions to facilitate and accelerate the market launch of products. After identifying the required partners for a project, a single contact person is appointed to take charge of the relationship with the client. This contact person understands all the customer’s issues, from the design phase to the industrialisation and automation of the assembly. He/she coordinates all the partners who are committed, in a team spirit, to the values of loyalty and responsibility towards customers and suppliers.

R&D Technology specialises in the design and manufacture of automated and/or robotised production equipment and brings its expertise in industrialisation to guide the technical and technological choices made at the design stage of the device, with the aim of ensuring optimum productivity for the assembly, packaging and wrapping machines produced subsequently.
