ARRIVAL

I joined R&D as an electromechanic in September 2019.

CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOUR CURRENT POSITION AT R&D?

I am currently an electromechanic in special machinery in Monswiller.

I wire electrical cabinets, assemble mechanical parts and wire machines according to the 3D and the electrical diagram created by the design office.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE EVOLUTION OF R&D OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS?

I’ve arrived at a company that is booming in its field thanks to its versatility in the design of customised industrial equipment for all sectors of activity.

WHAT ARE YOUR MOTIVATIONS FOR WORKING AT R&D?

Seeing my colleagues, the desire to evolve and learn motivates me every day. The fact that the work is varied and that the company is constantly innovating is also a source of motivation for me.

I was asked to take charge of the assembly of so-called “smart tanks” for the pharmaceutical industry at an associated site. My job also requires me to go directly to the customer’s site to install the machines.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE WORK ATMOSPHERE AT R&D?

I’ve been able to integrate easily at R&D because I’ve always been sociable. I feel very comfortable there because I like what I do and my colleagues too.

HOW DO YOU SEE THE FUTURE OF R&D?

I’m positive because R&D is involved in all sectors of industry and in particular the medical sector, one where demand is strong. R&D Technology is active in growth markets such as robotics and the industry of the future. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

WHAT IS FOR YOU THE MAIN ARGUMENT TO JOIN R&D TECHNOLOGY?

The opportunity to participate in the development of a growing company. Very well equipped, new premises, a good welcome, a good atmosphere, mutual help … The well-being of employees is important at R&D and I think this makes it different from many other companies.
